We’re thrilled to announce that Sibley’s Toyland is returning to Sibley Square for its third annual holiday display, opening December 1 at The Mercantile on Main. This beloved Rochester tradition brings the magic of the former Sibley’s Department Store back to life—right here in the heart of downtown.
For the last several years, our team at WinnCompanies and Sibley Square has been carefully restoring the original animatronic figures, décor, and holiday scenes that once captivated generations of Rochester families. Many of these pieces filled an entire floor of the historic Sibley’s Department Store, where Toyland and the “Magic Corridor” were cherished seasonal destinations featuring toys, animated elves, and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Today, we’re proud to share these restored treasures with the community once again. The display is open to the public and will run through January 15th, 2026 (closed on Christmas Day).
2025 Toyland Display Hours
Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
You’ll find the display inside The Mercantile on Main, 240 E. Main St., with convenient garage parking available at St. Joe’s Parking Garage, located at 72 N. Clinton Ave.
